Project 9

Fine Art Portraits

With this edit played with the brightness of the photo and upped the exposure to create a a lighter and softer feel. To further this I brought down the clarity on the background creating a kind of glow. With this picture I really like the simplicity of it, and the focus brought to the model because of this simplicity. I choose the picture itself because I really liked the pose, specifically the hand.
With this picture I really like because of the shapes that the hair in the background creates. To edit this picture I made it black and white and put a texture over it. The look kind of mimics that of the daguerreotypes we did earlier in the year. I felt that with adding the texture it brought out a different feel to the photo which I liked a lot.
